Curriculum links

The Grow Your Own Potatoes project supports the curriculum, providing lots of interesting ideas to support your teaching:

  • ‘Grow it’ has information and activities around growing potatoes
  • The downloadable resources section has a range of worksheets for key stage 1 and 2, which suggest activities centered around potato and potato growing
  • For younger children ‘colour it’ has downloadable colouring sheets showing how potatoes are grown.
  • Once you’ve harvested your potatoes and taken a photograph, there are lots of imaginative recipes to enjoy in the cook it section.
